Tealview connects field hardware to live monitoring, reservoir level forecasting and digital inspections, in a single platform for dam safety surveillance and risk management.
Stays online in remote terrain where cell coverage drops out. No gaps in your data record.
Weatherproof enclosures rated for harsh outdoor conditions. Deploy it and forget it.
Continuously monitors water level, temperature, water quality, and on-site precipitation, giving operators a complete picture of dam conditions in one place.
On-site cameras provide continuous visual coverage of spillways, upstream and downstream slopes, and other critical components, so operators can confirm the structure is in good order and ready to safely pass flood events.
Water level, temperature, and instrument health streamed continuously. See exactly what’s happening right now.
Set yellow and red alert levels per dam. When a reading crosses a threshold, the right people are notified immediately.
Environment Canada data integrated directly into the dashboard. See incoming precipitation alongside your current reservoir levels so you can act before the rain arrives, not after.
All sensor data is accessible via the Tealview API, so it can feed directly into your existing SCADA or control systems. Tealview works alongside your current infrastructure.
For each site we build a hydrological model of the watershed and perform reservoir routing to forecast the most likely range of short-term reservoir levels.
We develop a calibrated hydrological model of the catchment using proven models, such as HBV-EC, UBC Watershed Model, GR4J, and others, calibrated to historical precipitation, temperature, and reservoir levels. The model is re-calibrated periodically as more hydrometeo data is collected.
The hydrological model uses Environment Canada’s ensemble precipitation forecast to model future inflows and reservoir levels. A full set of weather scenarios is considered, capturing the range of expected weather conditions.
The model routes inflows through your reservoir to produce a probabilistic band of likely water levels, plus a conservative bound for dam-safety planning, so you can see whether levels may approach the spillway or crest before they do.
The forecast gives advance warning of peak reservoir levels during storms, helping you decide if and when to deploy field staff to the dam and whether to pre-emptively initiate the Dam Emergency Plan.
Tealview’s inspection module guides inspectors through structured checklists on their phone or tablet, on-site, with photos attached to each item. When the inspection is complete, a formatted PDF report is generated instantly. No transcription, no emailing photos separately, no manual formatting.
Works on any phone or tablet, no app install required. Inspection checklists are fully customizable to match your structures, standards, and reporting requirements.
Attach photos directly to checklist answers while you’re standing in front of the structure.
One tap generates a professional report ready for your records or regulator.
Tealview builds a structured history of your infrastructure over time. Flagged defects are tracked across inspections, showing when an issue first appeared, how it’s progressed, and all photos associated with it. When it’s time for an audit, engineering review, or incident response, the full record is there.
Defects flagged during inspections are automatically aggregated. See every instance, every photo, across your entire inspection history.
Years of readings stored and accessible. Identify trends and correlate events with sensor data.
Structured data and PDF reports that meet dam safety record-keeping requirements.
Our team supplies, installs, and commissions all sensors and hardware on-site. From first site visit to first live reading, everything is handled end-to-end.
Hardware, connectivity, software, and ongoing support, all from Tealview. No coordinating between suppliers, no finger-pointing when something needs attention.
Tealview is fully cloud-hosted. Nothing installs on your network, no servers to maintain. Your team accesses everything through a standard web browser.
